We all know Richie's album Aftermath of the Lowdown is set to release September 4, 2012.
He recently performed at Sunset Sessions in Palm Springs at his Listening Party.
This provided Radio, Music Supervisors and other Radio people the chance to hear his music first.
The whole concept for Sunset Sessions is to get new acts to be heard before their stuff hits the radio stations. Now Richie is by far a "new act" but the chance for his music to be heard early was a great idea. Not to mention his jam session with Luke and Kevin that was just an added bonus which personally I wish I could have been there for. From the Sunset web site updates they were very happy with what Richie did as a performance and had said "The courtyard was packed for this intimate experience".

Time to start talking the album and tour up kids. A day shy of two months away.
